ASCLA President, with LC/NLS input, appoints Working Team and Advisory Committee members

First in-person Working Team and Advisory Committee Meetings

Hosted at ALA Midwinter Conference, Boston. Working Team Members and Advisory Committee Members met at ALA Midwinter in Boston for two days to review the 2011 Revised Standards and Guidelines of Service for the Library of Congress Network of Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. The team came out of this meeting with detailed comments and changes that would be included in the Working Paper.

In the absence of the Project Director, the working team presented to other network librarians and staff on the progress of the project and accepted comment. 

Eura Szuwalski appointed Project Director

Eura Szuwalski joins the Working Team and Advisory Committee (Team) to manage the progress of the Standards revision. 

The Working Paper with current comments and changes to the 2011 Revised Standards and Guidelines of Service for the Library of Congress Network of Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Additional comments and changes will be added prior to the First Draft's distribution.

Working Team meet at ALA, Orlando

Working Team members will meet at the American Library Association's Annual Conference in Orlando, FL for two full-day meetings. 

8:30 AM - 10:00 AM, Orange County Convention Center, Room W105A. Comment on the Working Paper and other materials will be accepted. The Project Director will present and update on progress.
